Hull striker Caleb Folan misses Monday's crucial Barclays Premier League trip to Aston Villa through suspension.
The Republic of Ireland international begins a three-match ban for his sending-off in last week's defeat by Liverpool but captain Ian Ashbee returns after two games suspended.
Folan's absence could see Daniel Cousin make his first start since suffering a back injury since last month while left-back Andy Dawson is also in contention. Midfielder Jimmy Bullard (knee) and Anthony Gardner (back) are both ruled out for the season.
Aston Villa right-back Luke Young will have to play through the pain barrier if he is to participate in the final four games of the campaign.
Young missed the 1-1 draw at Bolton with a foot injury which has dogged him for several weeks despite having painkilling injections but Villa are hopeful he can return to training on Saturday.
Striker Gabriel Agbonlahor and midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker could also come into contention after recent hamstring and knee setbacks.
Agbonlahor is Villa's joint top scorer with 13 goals and will be hoping to help Martin O'Neill's side end a run of 12 matches without a win.
